PostHeaderIcon Olympic Updates : Mens Curling Day One Results

The Men's Curling squads kicked off their events Tuesday for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics with a doubleheader of matches. Team USA dropped both of their matches which included a heartbreaking lose to Norway in an extra end. Team Germany edged out USA in the opening match.

USA Skip John Shuster held the last rock of the 11th end with a chance to win but came up short as his stone failed to rest for the winning point against Norway.

Norway [pictured left] ended up the day with one win and one loss and many headlines about their pants.

Sporting colorful attire that golfer John Daly would be proud of, the Norwegians lost to Canada in their first match.

Team USA will have to step it up to be one of the 4 teams to advance to the medal round now that they have an 0-2 record.
