Olympic Updates

Hello and welcome back,

The 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics are here and have kicked off in grand fashion. I debated on whether to continue this site over the last few months as you can see since my last updated post was in April. I've had nothing but trouble from Goggle and all Google based products over the last few months (Blogger is Fully Google Owned). This is why there have been limited updates. *Time to step up onto my soapbox*

Since Google owns most of the Internet they get to make their own rules. Google has the search, Feedburner, Google Adsense, Blogger, YouTube, Gmail, Analytics, and some other tools I used to fondly use. Then one day Google decided to treat me as a spammer. It was a mistake and it was corrected. However, since then I've had nothing but trouble from them. Even though I did nothing wrong and it was 'fixed' on their end I run into constant problems like my Feedburner now constantly not working, my YouTube account mysteriously taken down, my page rank throttled, and even my Blogger account suspended for review. All these sudden 'problems' get fixed but after a few months I'm ready to throw in the towel. It's like being bullied on the playground by a big kid wanting my lunch money. At this point I'm pretty much like 'screw-it, let's blog'.
